The workshop on blockchain in the arctic seafood industry was held in Tromsø the 7th of December 2021. We had the pleasure of having various participants both from research and the industry, including the University of Tromsø, Atea, IBM and the Norwegian sea food trust. The workshop started with a presentation of blockchain-related projects and initiatives, followed by a presentation by each company present on their experiences and ongoing initiatives on blockchain. Through the whole day we exchanged points of view, achievements and discussed work to come. The group dynamic was excellent, and there was great interest in maintaining this network in the future and to collaborate on blockchain-related topics.
